We are a stable and well-functioning unit with 10,600 registered residents, operating in an area with a unique combination of multicultural urban life and Skåne's countryside. At the medical clinic, there are six specialists in general medicine and seven training doctors (ST, AT, and BT). We are a multifaceted operation with clinics for nursing assistants, district nurses, physiotherapists, social workers, dietitians, and occupational therapists. There are specialized nurse-based clinics for asthma/COPD, diabetes, heart failure, cognitive impairment, and targeted health conversations. There is also a well-developed rehabilitation coordinator function at 100%, an elderly care clinic, a lifestyle clinic, and a mobile care team. In telephone counseling and primary care triage, the initial care is smoothly handled by nurses with support from doctors, physiotherapists, and nursing assistants. In the waiting room, there is an interpreter and a service host.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

In the role of nurse/district nurse, you will work with telephone counseling, handling acute patients, dressings, as well as medical administration and clinic work. You will also work with triaging. Of course, you will receive internal training based on your existing competence and areas of interest, all to meet the patients' needs in the best way.

With us, you will be part of a wonderful team of nurses and district nurses, where we are about fifteen colleagues who collaborate and exchange experiences. The working hours are scheduled during the day, Monday to Friday. Evening and weekend shifts may occur.

QUALIFICATIONS

For the position, you must be a licensed nurse or a further educated district nurse with permission to practice within Swedish healthcare. Language skills in Swedish at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale are required. You need to have a valid B driver's license as travel may occur in the position. Previous experience as a diabetes nurse and/or experience in primary care is an advantage.
